Rules of Growth

“Then Isaac sowed in that land and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him. And the man waxed great and went forward and grew until he became very great: for he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him”-Genesis 26:12-14

God is a God of progress and growth, increase and greatness. Life is meant for growth. Take a serious look at the universe and you’ll understand that growth, progress and increase are what God desires for his creation. A seed becomes a tree that brings forth fruits which contain seeds that could be planted to continue the circle. People say that a tree does not make a forest; I personally believe that this is only half true. In the presence of a good cultivator, even a seed could become a forest. Farmers plant with the anticipation of growth. Growth is possible for you, especially when you are involved in a good work. But there are rules which if you abide by them, you certainly would begin to see growth in the area you desire in life.

1. Seek for God’s Instructions:
If you read from the first verse of that Chapter 26 of the book of Genesis you would discover that there was a famine in the place where Isaac lived and everyone obviously was seeking for greener pastures. And God saw that Isaac was also trying to tow the same line but God stopped him; “And the Lord appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of: sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and I will bless thee”-Gen. 26:2-3a. The number one rule for growth is to seek to hear from God. For man does not see as God sees! God changes wilderness situations into fruitfulness. Every man’s growth and fruitfulness per time is a function of the ‘oil’ of God working in his life. As it is written; ‘thou anointest my head with oil, my cup runs over” oil in the scripture signifies the measure of God in your life. Christ in you is your hope of glory. What may look like a desolate place this night could become a fruitful field the next morning. Those who hunger for God’s leadings are made to lie down in pastures that may look dry now but God knows its becoming a green pasture soon. You will not miss your own in the name of Jesus. Friend, hearing from God is not restricted to only some believers, but you must give God the required attention and intimacy. Tune to his frequency and you can hear him.

2. Obey his instructions:
God values obedience to his commands. In fact Isaac was enjoying the dividends of his father, Abraham’s obedience to God. Your children will benefit from your obedience to God (See Gen.26:4-5). Isaac also had a choice of not obeying God when he asked him to remain in that land but he chose to obey. Then God gave him the security he needed for his required growth. Abimelech the king of that land then placed a death penalty on whosoever would touch Isaac or his wife. Without environmental security you cannot thrive. And this is given by God when he finds you faithful.

3.Sow in the land:
To sow means to get to work. No blessing becomes real in any one’s life except he or she gets to work. It is what you do that prospers (Psalm 1). God abhors idleness or laziness. You must get down to doing what you are called to do. God said Abraham obeyed his voice and kept his charge. Looking closely at the word ‘charge’ I discovered that it also meant responsibility or duty. God gave him work to do for him. He has a work for everyone; you must discover your own and apply these rules. And you shall definitely see growth. And the man waxed great, and went forward and grew until he became very great! This shall be your story in Jesus name. But growth is only guaranteed when you have the Lord Jesus in your life as your personal Lord and saviour. How do I do this? You may ask, then simply scroll up this webpage and click on “Meet With Christ”, follow the instructions there and your life would shine brighter. Shalom!

Walking in Miracles Everyday

“so Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee where he made the water wine. And there was a certain noble man whose son was sick at Capernaum. When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judea into Galilee, he went unto him and besought him that he would come down and heal his son: for he was at the point of death. Then said Jesus unto him except ye see signs and wonders ye will not believe. The nobleman said unto him, sir come down ere my child die. Jesus said unto him, go thy way thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him and he went his way. And as he was now going down his servants met him, and told him saying thy son liveth. Then enquired he of them the hour when he began to amend. And they said unto him, yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him. So the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto, thy son liveth: and himself believed and his whole house. This again is the second MIRACLE that Jesus did, when he was come out of Judea unto Galilee”-St. John’s Gospel 4:46-54

A miracle is God’s work amongst men that make men to wonder. When a miracle happens people cannot explain it. Jehovah the Most High God works by miracles, signs and wonders. In case of a miracle, God alone is the causative agent that brings the effect that is the miracle! Miracles are free for all but those who walk in the realm of the miraculous take certain steps to receive it. The risen, living saviour Jesus still works miracles today, for he is the same forever (Hebrews 13:8).

Some essential steps that must be taken if you must walk in miracles:
1. You must know when you need a miracle:
A miracle is needed when you have tried your best humanly speaking, and the situation still remains hopeless if not worse. If you took time to read the bible text above, you would discover that the rich man must have tried using the best medicines to bring healing to his son and yet nothing good came out of it. Pride, most times blinds people so that they refuse to humble themselves before God and ask for their needed miracle. Go through the scriptures and you would discover that men who overcame great challenges that faced them in their day asked and received the miracle working help of God. From Jabez who was born to be honourable in life yet his days were marred with sorrow not until he demanded for a miracle from God (see 1 Chronicles 4:9-10), to King Hezekiah who was sentenced to die from an illness. Inspite of the fact that the prophecy of his imminent death came through the lips of a major prophet; the prophet Isaiah, yet he still sought God for himself and received his miracle. God sent the same prophet back to him to announce the addition of fifteen extra years of good health to his days, what a miracle (see Isaiah 38). Friend, God has not changed he can do the same for you too!
2. You must identify a man carrying the unction of the Holy Spirit to work miracles:
I guess this is where most people are being deceived. Despite the fact that satan nowadays presents himself as an angel of light, God still empowers his children with the gift of working miracles (see 1 Corinthians 12:4-10). Although many witch doctors have turned their shrines into Churches, the true power of the Holy Spirit is still present. For the presence of the fake shows that there is the real somewhere. You won’t be deceived! He could even use you too if you are born from above, or born again. That man that you read about in the bible text above was a king’s senior worker yet he left the palace and went by himself to look for Jesus and he begged Jesus to come and help him. But I don’t want you to misinterpret the message I’m passing across to you. Do not go seeking for miracles from church to church. Seek only to grow in the knowledge of God’s word and in your faith and you would begin to see miracles everyday. The noble man sought Jesus because Jesus is the Word of God personified.
3. You must believe that every Word-filled and Holy Ghost-filled servant of God works with authority from God (Matt.8:6-10. Your faith in God is the point of contact of the miraculous. Your own simple prayer of faith when you find yourself in a desperate situation can deliver miracles for you. Pastors and Church leaders can join their faith with yours, but you must build your own faith too. The man believed Jesus after he assured him of his son’s healing and stopped bothering him. Different men of God carry different graces, God simply confirms the word of his servant whom he has endowed with the gift of working miracles. And it comes to pass just as he has spoken. If you are reading this and you need God’s miracle in any area of your life, ask now in faith and you shall see it happen for you within the next 24 hours of your asking, in the Mighty name of Jesus! There is no distance in the realm of the Spirit. For the miracle working God sees all and fills all in all. But if you haven’t received this miracle working God as your personal Lord and Saviour, why don’t you scroll up to the top of this page again and click on ‘Meet with Christ’. Your life can’t remain in any rut! Shalom!

The Work of Patience in taking your Victory

“That ye be not slothful but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises”-Hebrews 6:12

Every faith giant knows fully well that faith and patience always go hand in hand. The faith that works always stands on the word of God, while obeying God at the same time. This is what proves to God that you trust in him. They that trust in the Lord are like the immovable mount Zion that abides forever. And the Most High God definitely shows himself strong on their behalf.

The man or woman of faith is the one who would wait upon the Lord, they don’t dictate to God as to when their expectations would manifest. Their faith is Now! To them, they are fully persuaded that God would bring to pass that which he has said he would do. Knowing that God makes all things beautiful in his own time, they patiently wait for him. as it is written; “for yet a little while and he that shall come will come and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith, but if any man draw back my soul shall have no pleasure in him”-Hebrews 10:37-38. Impatience is the one mark of unbelief which is drawing back in the sight of God. For he that believes shall not make haste (Isaiah 28:16) such impatient ones should not expect to see victory in their faith fight. They are double minded.

Consider Abraham the patriarch, the only one in the scripture whom God called his friend. God himself changed his name to ‘father of nations’ and yet at close to a hundred years of age he had no child. I guess he was no doubt an object of mockery in the sight of the faithless and unbelieving. But Abraham had a deep understanding of the character of God. He staggered not at the promises of God through unbelief but was strong in faith giving glory to God (Romans 4:20). The man of faith rather than murmur or grumble Would always give glory to God, thanking him for the victory that he knows is sure; even when the present circumstances is speaking contrary.

Most times your faith is tried so as to teach you patience (see James 1:2-4) A call to the Christian faith is a call to a life of the faith of God in Christ Jesus. God is forever living that’s why he is not bothered about time. The mad rush engaged in by the sons of men is because they think that death is the end for them. But if you live life with a sense of purpose, knowing that you where sent here to achieve a definite assignment. You will forget about time and focus on how you can use your faith to complete that work and go home to your maker only when you’re done. True followers of Christ do not die, they simply go and join the great cloud of invisible witnesses (see Hebrews 12:1)

You are only perfected on the platform of patience. But mind you, patience doesn’t mean laziness or idleness; it simply means working with God’s time. In God’s own time that wall of Jericho must come down; even if it doesn’t come down when you go round it at first, don’t lose hope march round it seven times. For faith means to march forward! Only then can the sea see you coming and flee! Your victory is sure in Jesus mighty name, Amen! Shalom!

Healing in the Air

“And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching , that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them”-John 5:17

Beloved, there is nothing beautiful or glorious about sicknesses; it is the handiwork of man’s archenemy satan. Satan sends sicknesses to people so as to destroy God’s plans for their lives. God’s will for all of his children is to prosper and to be in health ( see 3 John 2, Malachi 4:2), that’s why the major work of the Word of God who is God that became flesh to dwell and walk amongst men; Jesus was always healing; hear him; “today I do cures”( see Luke 13:32). For everyone truly serving or who has given their lives to Jesus, good health is part of what they have inherited in Christ; Jesus by his death and resurrection paid the price for it (Isaiah 53:4-5, 1Peter 2:24).

How to get your healing from Jesus:

Medicines and herbs are for caring for your body but God in Christ Jesus is the healer. The communion table is the table of healing; everyone truly born of God and approaches that table with understanding and faith definitely receives their healing (see John 6:48-51). The bread and the wine that believers take signifies the life essence of Jesus by which all who have accepted him receive life too. For the life of the flesh is in the blood.
 You must not put your trust in drugs or medicines; though they quite useful but your trust should be in God who can make even the food, water and the air you breath in become healing for you. There are sicknesses that doctors cannot diagnose and are at a loss as to what drugs to prescribe. From the bible text at the beginning of the article; as the Master Jesus taught, the power of God was present to heal. I know in my spirit that someone reading this webpage this hour receives a healing touch from the Lord Jesus now! Amen. Friend there are no barriers or obstacles in the realm of the spirit. The mighty power of the unchanging Jesus by the Holy Spirit has been shed abroad now. All you need is your faith connection; you cannot remain in any sick bed in Jesus name! Amen. Go through the New Testament and you’ll discover that no one who really desired to be healed by Jesus; and implored him for it left without it. They all received it (see Luke 4:38-39, Mark 5:22-23). You also will receive your own.
 You must tell satan and his sicknesses to go away from your life. But such authority and power is given freely only to all who accept Jesus into their lives as their personal Lord and Saviour. Have you done so? If not why not check the top of this webpage now and click on ‘Meet with Christ’; follow the instructions there. This day God’s healing and salvation enters your life and home afresh. Shalom!
